What we collect
JobMee! may collect account identifiers, contact and career-profile information, résumé text and uploaded files, writing samples, job listings you provide or save, generated documents, application answers, learning and interview progress, application tracking information, subscription status, and security or usage records needed to operate the service.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, maintain your private workspace, analyze job fit, prepare résumés, cover letters, and application answers, generate learning and interview material, locate publicly available job listings at your request, export documents, enforce account entitlements, prevent abuse, and operate JobMee!.
AI processing
When you use an AI feature, relevant profile, résumé, writing-sample, job-listing, question, and instruction content may be sent to the configured OpenAI API. Public-web search may be used when you request job discovery, public job-page extraction, or learning resources. Generated material must be reviewed before use.
Shared job pool and recommendations
When JobMee! verifies a public job posting during a user-requested search, public posting information such as title, employer, location, description, source URL, requirements, and verification time may be stored in a shared job pool so the same public role can be recommended efficiently to other users. Your résumé, private profile, application materials, and identity are not placed in that shared pool. Your Looks good, Not for me, and added signals are stored privately under your account to prevent repeated recommendations and improve your personal results.
Public Journal and community content
If you draft or submit a Journal story, JobMee! stores the article, author display name, category, tags, images, and moderation status. Drafts remain private to you and authorized editors. Content becomes public only after editorial approval. Reader comments are stored as pending until approved; rejected comments are not displayed. Likes are associated with an internal account identifier to prevent duplicate voting, but public pages display only aggregate counts. Do not include private résumé information, confidential employer information, or personal data you do not want published.
Payments
Stripe processes subscription checkout, recurring billing, payment-method updates, and cancellation-management pages. JobMee! stores Stripe customer, subscription, price, status, renewal, and event identifiers needed to enforce access. JobMee! does not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code.
Storage and security
Workspace data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore under a path scoped to your verified Firebase user ID. Résumé PDFs and other permitted uploads are stored as private Google Cloud Storage objects. The browser does not directly read your Firestore records or private storage objects; authenticated requests pass through the JobMee! backend.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers required to operate JobMee!, when you direct us to share it, or when legally required. Current service categories include cloud infrastructure, authentication and abuse protection, AI processing, and subscription payments.
Retention and control
You can export your workspace and permanently delete your account from the product. Permanent deletion is designed to cancel an associated JobMee! subscription, delete the Firebase account, remove workspace records, remove uploaded résumé objects, remove private Journal drafts and pending comments, and detach your internal account identifier from approved public Journal activity. Published stories or approved comments may remain as public editorial records under the license in the Terms, but may be anonymized or removed by contacting support, subject to limited security, legal, accounting, dispute, and backup retention obligations maintained by JobMee! or its service providers.
Your responsibilities
Do not upload classified information, passwords, government identification numbers, health records, payment-card information, or information you are not authorized to process. Review every AI-generated claim and never submit invented credentials, dates, titles, clearances, skills, or experience.
